WGM Group has an excellent team with knowledge of right-of-way policy, procedures, and design. We have experience developing right-of-way plans, route descriptions, deeds, exhibits, as well as providing surveying and retracement activities.
The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) selected WGM Group to provide right-of-way services for the US Hwy 93 Hamilton to Victor project totaling approximately 35 miles, and comprising more than 280 ownerships. WGM Group completed appraisals, negotiations, utility identification and relocation, and preparation of deeds and exhibits for this project with an estimated right-of-way cost over $8 million.
Other recent projects include the Brooks/South/Russell Intersection project with more than 34 ownerships and a right-of-way cost of $1 million, and the $1 million MDT Junction MT 85 East project near Bozeman, with more than 100 ownerships. Most recently the Missoula Department of Parks and Recreation awarded WGM Group the Trails Right-of-Way project which will include working with residential and business landowners for the acquisition of parcels to extend Missoula’s bicycle and pedestrian trail system.
