WGM Group provided project management and prepared the plans and specifications for the widening of US Highway 93 between Hamilton and Victor. This project had a high level of public interest, and included a Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) along with several focus groups concentrating on specific issues.
The public process resulted in a unique design that takes into account the specific needs and desires of the small communities along the highway. Key issues in the public process included traffic calming in urban areas, pedestrian and bicycle safety, aesthetics, wetlands and wildlife access, and right-of-way impacts.
WGM Group is also providing right-of-way services for the US Highway 93 Hamilton to Victor project totaling approximately 35 miles, and comprising more than 280 ownerships. WGM Group completed appraisals, negotiations, utility identification and relocation, and preparation of deeds and exhibits for this project with an estimated right-of-way cost over $8 million.
