WGM Group was retained to perform a detailed topographic site survey of approximately 34 acres of land owned by the University of Montana. This site survey covered the parking areas, clubhouse, and approximately one-third of the fairways, rough, and greens of the university golf course. This survey included a static GPS control network consisting of 8 horizontal control points, 2 spirit leveled benchmarks, and detailed terrestrially performed mapping that included all structures, roadways and paths, parking areas, gravel paths and areas, sidewalks, curbs, fences, underground and above ground utilities, and all trees greater than 6 inches in diameter. The site mapping will be utilized for planning purposes and possible future engineering design.
