The Teton Addition at Maloney Ranch is located west of the area generally known as Linda Vista in the City of Missoula. The project site consists of 314 acres. The development proposal will create 492 single-family homesites, and the potential for 308 multi-dwelling residential units, including townhomes. With over 3 miles of trails, including a riverfront trail, 8 acres of developed park and 67 acres of natural open space, the project is a good example of comprehensive planning come to life.
The developer of the project, Maloney Ranch Properties, has conserved approximately 1,800 acres of the original 3,100-acre ranch either via protective easements or deeded land to the Montana Departments of Fish Wildlife & Parks, and Natural Resource & Conservation. The open space provided within the Teton project site is adjacent to some of the conservation easements providing additional buffer, habitat areas, and a connected network of natural resource preservation. In addition, land was given to the City of Missoula for a new fire station in the neighborhood.
This project builds on the strengths and suggestions of the planned vision for the area to provide a thoughtfully designed neighborhood integrating a mix of housing types, parks, trails, and open space to create a wonderful place and community for future residents.
