WGM Group provided project management, design, bidding, and construction administration service for this important sewer project. This sanitary sewer project was in an established residential area funded through Federal EPA grants and the State Revolving Fund. This project involved the preparation and adoption of a wastewater facilities plan for Southwest Missoula. The plan was completed, presented to the different neighborhoods, and adopted by the City of Missoula.
This process then moved into design, construction observation and contract administration of 14 miles of collection system with Septic Tank Effluent Pump (STEP) mains ranging from 2 to 10 inches in diameter, on-site systems, and 1,855 linear feet of 8-inch gravity main. This $10 million project was the first comprehensive STEP collection system in a major community of Montana.
