WGM Group has served as the primary engineer for Mountain Water Company, a privately held water company serving the City of Missoula, for over 25 years. Over the years, WGM Group has worked with Mountain Water Company on facility planning and extending tens of thousands of linear feet of water main throughout the City of Missoula, including the South Hills water supply system. This system is comprised of many smaller projects, and included water studies and modeling, annexation and zoning, easements, design, project coordination, and construction services. The list of projects for the South Hills Water Supply includes:
- Skyview Reservoir
- Skyview Pumphouse and Booster Station
- 10 Pressure Reducing Stations
- 23rd Street Booster Pump
- Whitaker Reservoir
WGM Group also designed and constructed thousands of linear feet of water main in the South Hills. These projects were designed and constructed within existing streets and adjacent to existing homes in the urban area, requiring continuation of service and traffic control during construction.
