WGM Group provided project management, design, bidding, and construction administration services for this important Missoula sewer project.
This project provided for the installation of gravity sewer mains to serve an existing developed area of over 1200 properties. The project was developed in several phases, with WGM Group selected to provide engineering services for each of the phases.
The services provided included: assistance with SID formation; public presentations; studies of the service area to develop a plan for servicing the properties; completion of designs, surveys, plans, and construction documents; and construction observation.
The development of plans required the negotiation of over 100 easements with private landowners. The project included 80,000 linear feet of gravity mains and 315 service stubs to existing homes.
Total construction costs were approximately $9 million and included multiple funding sources.
