WGM GROUP TAKES THE GUESSWORK OUT OF FLOODPLAIN DETERMINATIONS by understanding the regulations and using our experience to apply modeling and analysis tools to meet the regulations. Our expertise allows us to provide solutions to our clients that work for both the built and natural environments. WGM Group works cooperatively with builders, developers, and management agencies to ensure that each project meets regulatory requirements, and is completed successfully. To this end, we employ planners, surveyors, engineers and a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) with the experience, expertise and tools necessary to evaluate and design solutions for any project.
WGM Group’s project history includes numerous Elevation Certificates and Letters of Map Amendment (LOMA) to remove structures or parcels of land from the regulatory floodplain. In addition, WGM Group successfully completed the largest Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) ever performed in Missoula County. The Pattee Creek-South Hills Storm Drainage Project removed hundreds of homes from the regulatory floodplain. Furthermore, our surveyors have completed numerous watercourse and bathymetric surveys in support of floodplain studies and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regulatory applications.
