At WGM Group, we take pride in our work. Recently three WGM Group designers received professional recognition for their talents!
Trevor Iman, PE was selected as the Missoula Downtown Association Downtown Employee of the Year. He was selected for the construction management of the North Higgins Streetscape Project. Iman was particularly appreciated for his attention to local business owners during construction.
Kyle Thompson, PE received word that he passed the Montana Board of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors Professional Engineering (PE) exam. Engineers must have four years experience on engineering projects under the direct supervision of a professional engineer to be eligible to take the PE exam. Thompson's area of expertise is in water resources engineering, specifically floodplain analysis and water system design. He is an ASFPM Certified Floodplain Manager and a Montana Certified Water System Operator.
WGM Group Vice President and Principal Land Use Planner, Nick Kaufman, received accolades from the Montana Association of Conservation Districts for his work on subdivision design. They sited his work in Grant Creek as a Best Practice in Riparian Protection. Land Use Planners from all over Montana will now use his design as an example of how to plan communities that do not harm Montana wetlands. On Saturday January 8, 2011 WGM Group President/CEO spoke to the Montana Legislature about the importance of infrastructure development in creating economic stability and growth.
